2023-24 CCHS School Advisory Council (SAC) Openings

The CCHS Parents Association will be conducting an election for the open parent positions on the CCHS School Advisory Council (SAC) for 2023-2024.   

The CCHS School Advisory Council (SAC) is a principal’s advisory group mandated by the State Education Reform Act of 1993. The CCHS SAC is composed of teachers, parents, students, school support staff, and the Co-Principals. Council members serve two-year terms and act in an advisory capacity to assist the school Co-Principals in adopting educational goals for the school, identifying the educational needs of students attending the school, reviewing the annual school budget, and formulating a school improvement plan. Meetings, which are open to the public, will be held bi-monthly in the main office conference room. The dates of meetings are posted on the Concord-Carlisle High School website. Periodic reports from the Council, as well as information about annual elections are also published. 

The meeting dates for the 2023-2024 school year are:  

Wednesday, November 1 - 12:45 pm 

Thursday, January 11 - 11:00 am 

Thursday, March 7 - 11:00 am 

Friday, April 5 - 9:00 am 

Wednesday, May 15 - 12:45 pm

If you would like to volunteer for this role, please send a brief personal bio to president@cchspa.org, by 5 PM WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 11. The CCHS Parents Association will be running an online election from Friday, October 13 through Monday, October 16.
