The Candidates (in their own words)
Rebecca Connolly - My name is Rebecca Connolly. I have two children, Stella just graduated this year and Elliott is a Junior. From 2018-2022, I volunteered for the CMS advisory committee and absolutely loved being part of a team whose impact positively benefited the CMS community of students, teachers and staff. We tackled short and long-term projects sometimes working in one large group and concurrently in sub-committees. I can commit to the two-year term and have confirmed I am available for all the 2024-25 meetings.
Kristin Martines - I am interested in applying to be on the CCHS SAC Committee. I was on the SAC Committees at both Willard and CMS. I enjoy being a part of the advisory group at the school. I am currently a corporate attorney working in house for a company in Waltham. I received a business degree in Accounting from Babson College and a JD from Case Wester Reserve University School of Law in Cleveland, OH. I have served on the boards of Milldam Nursery School, Willard PTG and CMS PTG. I was Treasurer at Milldam (4 years) and Willard (5 years). I served as PTG President at CMS for 2 years, when we were just coming out of Covid. I am organized, detail-oriented, flexible and collaborative. I have a lot of experience working with the administration and the teachers in all of the schools. I have had 3 children go through the Concord/Carlisle public schools and I think my years of experience is an asset. I was also on the taskforce with the Superintendent, for re-opening the schools after Covid. I have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. I have experience in both my personal and professional life, working with diverse perspectives and backgrounds. I think I have a lot to offer the SAC Committee and I would enjoy the opportunity to contribute.

Tamara has a strong background in mental health and well-being, with a master’s degree in Applied Positive Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania. She is a professor of positive psychology and leadership at Boston College. Tamara brings her deep knowledge of resilience and positive psychology to her work with students and leaders to environments where individuals and communities can thrive. She looks forward to contributing to the continued success of CCHS through the School Advisory Council.
