The role of the Parent Association is to enrich our children’s educational experience by fostering well-being and communication among CCHS students, staff & faculty, parents & caregivers and the Concord-Carlisle community at large. The CCHS PA sponsors many activities and events during the school year that enrich and enhance the whole school community. We do this in many ways:
Faculty grants that directly benefit the student body (2019-2020 the Parent Association received 13 grants and awarded over $18,000 toward projects like new pottery wheels, and author visits, fitness exploration, mindfulness, educational movies, all activities which directly benefit the students, and so much more!)
Support for individual class activities
Community outreach (Class representatives organize and host parent socials to build community involvement 3-4 times a year)
Teacher’s Conference Day Luncheon
The Parent Association also supports the Class Government by giving them an annual grant and providing over 300 parent volunteers throughout the year to support for individual class activities These include:
Freshman Dance, Pink Dance, Thanksgiving & St. Patrick's Day Luncheons, Senior Class 1st/last day breakfast, prom support, senior week activities, multicultural Food Fest, and many other endeavours throughout the year!
Additionally, the PA provides financial support to Principal Mastrullo in his initiatives to create teacher collaboration opportunities, is bringing four speakers into the community this year, hosts teacher appreciation events – and so much more!
The PA has been extremely fortunate to have funds available to support these initiatives when asked. In order to continue this mission, we need your help! As we enter uncharted territory with Covid-19, please consider a donation to the CCHS PA. 100% of the funds donated are applied directly to student, school and family enrichment. The PA cannot do this without your generous support!
